It wasn't blown in the RAW file - but it didn't have the contrast I was after.
I guess I should have masked it off a bit before I increased the contrast - I'm getting lazy in my old age! Thanks Brian :)

have u tried reducing the exposure in PS around the foreground,just curious what impact it would have.

Sally this is great, I was looking at it and wondering if it could possibly be that big ship, amazing, again it's presence is incredible...and this takes on a completely different feel...great perspective, tones, and textures. A great eye and a great capture...I bet there are some wonderful stories that go with this ship and the people who sailed with her...nice work, glad something I said inspired you..thanks for posting it...Linda
