I was looking at your portfolio today and was quite impressed with what I saw. I like your use of shapes, lines and abstracts, as well as different moods of people. Above all, I like your lovely B&W tones.
Best, Avi

mmmh...the AE-1 isn't in use nowadays...but this shots were older, for analog I love my used EOS 3 and I'm glad that from the beginning I went for a good negative scanner...
the Epson 3200 allows to make very good scans, even from middleformat negatives...so look out in the near future for such scans...
a hug Verena

Yes Verena, I agree 100%!
I have a Canon FD system myself (nothing that "modern" like your AE1 - it is an FTb and a EF plus some original Canon primes and Zooms) and I will not give it up now.
There is nothing digital which can be compared to Ilford Galery paper :-)
But I do not scan my analog work.
And I do work exclusively in digital, when it comes to colour.
As well as I convert some digital photos to bw :-)
Cheers,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
my heart beats for analog/b&w...
digital is nice, but the prints especially for b&w are never really b&w...
So I will continue my way against the digital wave...but keeping the 10D for the rest...
Cheers, Verena

Moi Thilo,

Hi Verena,
