About
This, as far as my knowledge goes, is the OLD QUAY in Newlyn, Cornwall. As you can see things have progressed a tad. As now you can see the Old Quay is dwarfed by the newer and bigger Newlyn Harbour, and you can see but half of it's entirety. I'm just glad that it's been saved from being raised to the ground in the name of development.
Albeit boarded up - it's always sad when older buildings with charactor get disused and eventually raised to the ground to be regenerated in the name of modernisation. You can see modern (hectic overcrowded) life contrasting very well against the simpler and smaller old rowing boats in the foreground. Life must have been so relaxed back then!!
