Ian, actually my mother in law doesn't live that close to me....jokes apart, "hell" is related to the fact that the staircase belongs to a building in a very desoalte area of Rome, where it is always hard fot people to make ends meet, so you find drugs, robberies and such nice things. Regards, Claudio

Thanks for your comment. The view of the staircase is taken from the ground; "hell" is related to the fact that the building is in a poor quarter of Rome, where it isn't always easy to make ends meet. Regards Claudio

Hi Claudio,
Nice shot, but why is it a "Stairway To Hell"? Is it because your Mother In Law is at the end of it? ;-) Just kidding.

Interesting title. The image really drew me in. You've made a philosophical statement here: the stairway to hell is more like a shoot! Are we looking up or down? Hmmmmmm.

Great comp, I believe this would look equally good converted to b&w (Grayscale) & give this abstract like shot a different perspective. Otherwise well captured Claudio, ciao.

To heaven rather... You should capture this view from the top to call it "to hell" ;)
