Pretty funny Jim, besides the comic aspect of this shot the scene is beautiful. Wonderful dramatic sky and the feel of wind in the clouds and water. Alison

LOL, it just looked so surreal sitting out there all alone. Don't know what happened to the building around it it was just sitting there all alone on a foundation. I cleverly hid that from ya all;)

Sam, if you like to do low light work the speed is essential. You will pay for it though:) Use what you have for now and if you find yourself missing shots then think about it.The big thing you might run up against is long exposure noise. A 3.5 is only a half a stop off. If you want to get a nice macro lens, get one like the canon 100 mm, where macro is what it is made for. I generally use my 24/70 only for landscapes and all purpose photo's. Hope this helps:)

Very interesting capture James, Lovely colors and tones. I was tossing a coin over the 24-70mm 2.8 and the 17-85mm 3.5...I went with the 17-85mm and am Very happy with it...I do need to get me a 2.8 or faster Macro tho...Any suggestions? or will the 17-85 work as well?

Best Regards

Sam III

Actually, of course, it is a very nice view. There must be a story for the reason for the loo! A soft lovely view, Jim. Lose the loo :-) Larry
