yeah sorry mate the comment about the sky was misunderstood as I said it with my tongue in my cheek.. I saw the earlier comment and thought sky...what the hell its a bloody mountain kekeke yeah re the technique.. I use a similar thing mostly for portraits but it does work on landscape too Catch ya

There is no sky in this shot. Not sure what you are seeing. Chris Spracklen asked me the same question. It's just mountain side above the trees.
To increase density I generally duplicate the layer, GB to 8.2 pixels and then adjust top layer blend to either multiply, overlay or softlight, whatever works. Then reduce opacity slightly. I find on my monitor it works well for taking off that harsh digital edge. Just a personal preference.

I like the sky the way it is.. it works for me!! ummm maybe a tadd too much GB ... are you adjusting curves then Gb in overlay light?? Nice relective image tho
