Hi Morgan, i decide to take this position for two reason : first i wanted that the coins on the left was bringing the viewer to the hands on focus...second this is not a pose shot, i saw a person counting its money for true and i shot immediately...anyway i try to figure out your way to take this picture and i understand your point of view.

It would have been nice to position the camera so that the lens looks straight along the lines in the tablecloth towards the center of attention (the fingertips touching the coins), rather than cutting slightly diagonally across them in the center, and instead looking straight down them on the far left side of the picture.
