Location	City - Kawah Putih State - WEST JAVA Country - Indonesia
About	Kawah putih, means white crater at the height around 2100m, resulted from a volcanic explotion around year 1000 - 1200. and now this crater lake a relatively stable volcanic system, with no records of magmatic or phreatic activity since 1600. there is extensive sulfur-rich sediments on the bottom of the lake. The colors on the crater amazingly changing during the day, this one I took in the morning, which has the color a little bit greenish. I hope you like it

I'm happy to see it as a photograph, particularly a dramatically beautiful one like this! Smelly sulfurous lakes that want to suck you in don't appeal to me... If you were there long enough I guess we'll see some of those other colours? Look forward to it.

Hmmm... very very nice shot,the water color is really impressive..,what a great kawah putih ....
I think the sulfar is main reason of the color and colour changing...i think....

it looks calm and harmless but turn out it's quite dangerous, it suck you in. I lost my sandals :((
