I know what you mean about the sharpening tool Mel. I just lightly ran it over his eyes to make them pop, and I guess I over did it.

Maybe I'll try a few pictures without it.

This is an excellent portrait, Rach! Really well done. I like it a lot and classic in B&W! I do notice that they eyes appear just a tad oversharpened, but sometimes that happens during upload. It will look perfect in PSP then when you upload there is something that happens that causes some images to appear just a tad too sharp.

To be honest I have been having the opposite problem lately, I try not to oversharpen and then when I upload it looks VERY soft. From what I understand, all of that will be fixed when UF does their update!

Yes, we have a Gavyn and that's what also drew me to this pic. Ours is a bit younger though, still just 5 months old.

Adorable shot Racheal. Love the angle/perspective. The eyes are stunning. Great work.

Thank you for the suggestion. I guess I just left it that way because he was laying down on his side, but rotating my might work too.

Hi, Racheal!
Great shot of little Gavin!
I know this is the way too it but, in this instance, I think it might look even better rotated though 90 degrees (CW).
Kind regards, Chris
