Ken...so sorry to bombard you like this with comments, but I just want you to know how much I'm enjoying your portfolio! This happens to be my sport (hang gliding), although I've laid off flying with the kids under my feet (hard to get away enough to keep up my skills so I don't get killed). This image is another favorite and special to me for another reason. My mother's side of the family is all Irish -- O'Regans and O'Sullivans, and so there is a soft spot in my heart for Ireland. I've often looked at picture books of the countryside there and marveled at its beauty. It has so much appeal to me and I wish I could visit someday as it is such a breathtaking place. Your images show that as well. I just added you to friends so I can follow you and enjoy your work more often. Wow is all I can say. Antonia

There is a Salvador Dali feel to this shot. I don't know why, there just is. Well done Ken!

Looks like you might have done a bit of 'work' on this one, Ken! It has an almost surreal look to it. Great fun, though! Well caught! Best regards, Chris

Love it! Great shot and how lucky to be there when he took off - it's almost a "when cows fly" kind of feeling... :) Great work.

Interesting shot Ken! I like the composition and way you've included all the elements but have to agree with Hugo about the post processing, it does seem to be a little over done. In particular there is a curious semi-circular area around the lower right corner that is highly distracting...
It would be nice to see this without the post processing....

Thats a great capture, I would give it 7 if it didnt have that distracting yellow blob on the bottom right! get rid of it if you can !!
I love how youve done the border too

Hi Ken, How're you? a nice image in essence, but I think the postprocessing is too much. Especially in the sky, which even blocks out part of the trees on top of the hill. Also, the even tone of blue, ridden of any gradient looks abit unnatural. Looking at the direction of the light, coming from the left, slightly backlit, the sky is all too blue on a whole.
Cheers,
Hugo

Intersting shot. Looking very nice. I think this is a big ground, so the gliders are landing there. Beautiful site. Regards, Yatharth.
