This is well done, David! In so many shots of berries there is nothing that is really focused, but you managed to have a focal point in this one! Unless I'm mistaken this is the same berry that we call huckleberry, and my granddaughter loves nothing better than to position herself right in the middle of a bush like this and eat...eat...eat!

I keep repeating myself, but this new lens (new to me, it's a used lens) is just fantastic. I'm accustomed to always needing to adjust exposure and color in software, but this shot like many others is just so good right from the camera I don't dare do anything to it. What a difference a good lens makes.
I really like this - everything from the lighting, to the composition, to the colour - it all turned out quite well. Good job, and good luck. Keep up the good work.
