Hi Leanne, I like the perspective in this photo, as well as the capture of the texture and tones in the chain. Also, the diagonal compositon works well, IMO. I would've used a shallower DOF, blurring the ship and background to something virtually inrecognisable, as I don't think they add much to the image. And you could've kept / gotten away with the current title, too....:)
Sammy's suggestion is also a very good one. Already quite an improvement.
Good composition, and good choice for your focal point. I like the textures of the beach and chain, and the fact that the chain goes up into the solid black of the ship. Interesting work.
One change I might make, is to remove the plant from the left side, coming out from the post. I think it 'cleans up' the picture a bit.
