"It reminds me of my state here in Texas"

Gosh, maybe it's because this was captured in San Antonio! ;)

Hey Paul,

I think your DOF is 2nd to none and the framing is awesome. I love the hint of barbed wire and the detail of the rust on the cattle fencing and sign. The shotgun dents and the bullet hole are a brilliant plus. It reminds me of my state here in Texas? (lol)

My Best,

Jr. Martin

Saturated colors never fail to attract me. This one is no exception. Glad you are enjoying your 20D. Best regards, Art

Hey, thanks for the heads-up, Gayle, as I never go to the UF homepage. I knew my incessant blathering would get me recognized for something, I just never thought it would be as a 'smart guy'. ;)

I agree with a few of the above comments that this is the best of the 3. I think Hugo put it well. Also, just think, in about 10 years all our highway/freeway signs should be looking like this (when the funds run out) - great.......

Hi Paul, Of the three, I find this one the most balanced in composition, but all three show the corroded sign beautifully. Another reason for liking this shot best is that it tells a more conclusive part of the story (without tellling everything, I believe) Strong image!

Cheers,

Hugo

Smiles the last photo hardly shared the relative size of your subject, well done, and seen. I quite like the farmland view through the fence and the contrast of the muted hues of the landscape with those of the well rusted signage. A pleasure to share the greater perspective, Cheers my friend, Gerhardt

A little target practice always helps the signs. It almost looks like a license plate covered with bugs. Don.

Posted signs = free range targets......say did that cow just fall over?
Your shot is nicer.
