i have exactly the same sewing machine which is relic from my grandma. i photographed it, too.

Hi Mark
Good to hear from in your comments. Another interesting shot of something that brings back some great memories of my Nan's sewing machine...a Singer exactly the same as in the shot.
As well as the memories its contains wonderful tones and textures, the blur accentuated by the sharpness of the machine and the space above...nice one mate.

Lucky business - those old treadle machines are much prized and difficult to find in the original.
