You don't get 'opium' from the pretty poppy flower itself, so to call a nice, innocent picture of a poppy flower 'Opium' is hardly descriptive.
As for 'drugs are bad', opiates are prescribed legally by trained medical staff to help the sick - it's the way drugs are used, not the drugs themselves, that causes problems.
