Thanks Lea, you know it's funny you asked:) I have found that in macro photography (at least the bug world) a lot of it is just luck. Normally if I tried to get that close to a grasshopper he would be gone. But this guy just hopped into this baby pine tree and froze right in front of me. The wind was blowing and out of about 8 shots this is the only one that really made it.
