This is a nice image. Is there any reason why you chose a fast film? Could you not use a slide film such as vevlia? A slide film would have shown richer colors.

Hey Kari...has much more impact than the white Lily..the striking colors and the way you have composed it are wonderful.

Like Gary I would also like to see more in focus but I see you have used a close up filter and not being familiar with these flowers I'm not sure how close you had to get to them.
Possibly you got the best DOF you could with what you were working with.

Keep playing around...thats how you learn...you obviously have a very good eye ....*smile*...Maggie

Gary: Actually, this is one of my favorite pictures. I love the way it looks, but do see your point about the depth of field. I have never attempted any depth of field in my pictures yet. I will try that someday. Thanks!
