Thanks Margeret. I didn't know that your robins were different then ours until I made the mistake and told a bloke that his bird was not a Robin. He got me straight:)

Heard a nice story about the robin on a wildlife programme today. YOur robin is about twice the size of ours - the story goes the settlers from England - when they first saw this bird, saw the red front and because it reminded them of home, said let's call it a 'robin'.

Great shot, composition and presentation. I like how the twigs seem to frame the bird and I like the fact it is against the tree, seems to display the colours better.
