About This is the colour version of a prior posting. Other than the great lines here )which the B&W emhasized, the thing I also like was the Steel and Blue tones.

Aira, thanks so much for your kind obervations, I am truly flatter. You are so correct, also to me, HK is one of the most enthralling and seductive cities. In my top 3 cities, no doubt!- Cheers, RD

hong kong is such an inspiring place - the realm of contradictions of all sorts. cool capture, you saw an interesting play of lines and shapes where most of us would not have.

Excellent perspective Rafael. I like the curved lines of the floor and the ceiling. they make a good compination with the straight lines of the steel. so interesting. I like it.

The color version is my favorite - the lines are still emphasised because of the concrete and steel being a grey tone and you still get some interest with the color on the side. I love all the lines in this shot, I don't think I would've seen it myself. Good eye Rafael!

There is so much texture: the smoothness of the glass and steel columns, the squares in the floor and ceiling. And the colors are so subtle and wonderful. Great job, Rafael. -- Naomi

Very nice composition. The steel and glass looks very inviting and a bit forbidding--at the same time.

Regards,

Thanks Andrea, that was what attracted me to this walkway, the contrast of the soft curves against the cold rigid steel. Thanks for your comments :) - R.

Wow! Do you travel all over? Sooooo lucky! Gotta love all the geometery involved in this. I love the way the steel "bends" - so many times photos with metals are very straight and hard. This is like a combination of 2 worlds - the hard metals and the soft lines in the way the ceiling and floor curve around. Nicely done and great perspective!

Complimenti!
