I really like this one.
The juxtaposition of the white dot (lighthouse?)in the background and the white shape on the front of the board (life preserver) is exquisit.
The orange cord is such a strong element.
Showing just enough information to tell a story.

Well, added sky or not, this is a stunning photo. In addition to that swirling, ominous sky, I really like what appears to be a lighthouse in the distance, the detail in the grass, the way the path cuts dramatically through the compositon and, of course, the wonderful contrast of the orange plopped down in the middle of the rest of the muted tones.

This is a similar look that I commented on about a week ago with one of your photos. The detail in the life-saving equipment has an "electric" look that is only there just before a major storm. Great job all round.
