Nice work with good use of shallow DOF, Ellie. I like the effects from the out-of-focus pearls at the back.
I have a hunch this would make a great b&w shot.

This was done quickly as a product shot. Hardly any thought was given to the lighting except to use my large diffuser on a bracket with camera on tripod. But I did play around with it quite a bit in levels and got a beautiful result which I'm quite happy with.

The shape/movement does look like a snake, didn't notice it until you mentioned that. This was done very quickly actually, done as a sort of product shot, not intended to post anywhere, but I liked it.
