About Taken at the Seward Sea Life Center, Seward, Alaska. This was after tourist season was over. It was quit stormy out and it was early in the morning, so the place was pretty much empty. My grandson and a young sealion come face to face. They told us that the sealion was curious about kids.

this is a fantastic image Dave...perfect timing and also perfect light. must've been a great moment for your grandson.

i have a question about your landscape photos-do you use ND filters or any other filters? or do you usually work more in PS? you have some really beautiful landscapes... takes me back to Alaska.
cheers,
todd

This is such a great shot, the interest from both side is very appealing. The lighting is great the way it focuses on the main subject. Alison

Personally I find this photography one true perfection!
To part the composition, the exposure and all that here which (in the right way) are technically represented.
Emotionally is touching very much I think that this photography andares in my prefer!
Is touchable the "contact" of the child with the sealion.
A true touching shot of "wildlife".. I see her as a immense poster in a room.
a very
my best wishes..

This is amazing. He almost looks like a Shaman with the way he is dressed, a sense of communication. Love the scale behind the sea lion.
