Hah.. glad you thought that. Some are my rockafella look, others are my Franz Ferdinand impression! You do feel a prick doing them though! I prefer to be behind the camera!

I can picture it now.... Great facial expressions as the drill goes in, pics with pliers hanging onto a loose tooth - we're really onto something here! Yeah, home DIY on my teath is definately outa the question though! My Bosch cordless drill just doesn't look like the right tool for the job.

Matt, When we have sold the idea to the barbershops, It's on to the dentists next. (It might not be a good idea to try filling your own teeth, it could get messy) :) Andre

Andre,
If I use you as my agent then you can have 15% commission. How about a haircut yourself to get the process started! ha ha!!!

Carolina,
You got any clippers then? There must be a million other things you could try. One suggestion though - if you're gonna cut your hair don't do it when your partners not home. My fiancee had a small shock when she got back this night - at leats I could show her the process i'd gone through! LOL.

Ben,
First load on the EOS capture software to your PC.
Then just plug your 20d into your PC via the USB2 port - white lead provided. Switch your camera on now.
If you then open up the application and press the 2nd Icon along from the left on the tool bar 'EOS capture startup' - the one with a camera on it.
From there it's prety much self explanitory - you can set up shot rate, space between frames etc. You can shoot remotly from your pc too using the space bar as a trigger - all great fun!
The one draw back is you are restricted by teh length of the USB lead. Laptop tucked under your arm whilst taking photos ain't that easy!
Give it a go and let me know hoe you get on.
Rgds Matt

Very nicely done. I just did a number 2 last week. If only I saw this earlier.....
What is the function for the 20D to link to the computer?

Great idea Matt, Very original. Maybe you could sell the idea to a few barber shops? You could set the shoot up and take a variety of volunteer subjects and they could hang framed copies in their waiting area. What do you think? Do I get a commision? Andre

O.K....I'm IMPRESSED! Not only do you give great critiques, but you give great haircuts, too?? This little project looks like it was great fun, and I bet you learned ALOT along the way! (Not to mention, you're a CUTIE!) I'm really enjoying your porfolio, keep up the great work!

Brave idea! but well worth it...This is a great idea & nicely executed.
Your portfolio is growing quickly as there were only a few shots last time I looked. & I like your new stuff much more. You can see how your style has developed. Keep em coming. Some useful photoshop for something like this would be batch processing. You might have used it for this but if you didnt it is well worth checking out. I find it useful even just to set up some basic adjustment layers if I am working in a large number of files all the same.
Have a good one.
