Thanks for the comment Philip... this cat of mine, a holy birman died last year and i am happy to have this picture of her..she was so sweet. now i have two Norwegian forest cats.. I really appreciate your comments too

Hi Margriet,
This is an excellent shot of a cat! Getting a good shot of an animal is not easy but you did a great job!
I was reading some of the comments and DOF means "depth of field"

thanks for the comment... what is DoF..maybe an english short term for something.. yes i know..you are right..it was already very difficult to let her sit..she was a very caring and human minded cat and wanted to be with you when you looked at her.. so she came mostly to close ..but this time i was fats enough..smile

He is adorable. The only thing I might add is the DoF. If it were a bit more blurry behind it could have been a perfect cat portrait.
Good job to make him look at you and pose just like that.

Oh, this little kitty is to die for! I love this picture, Margriet! - and what great big blue eyes, full of expression! He looks like he's saying, "What the heck are you doing?" An excellent photo! I want to take him home with me! Nice, soft photo - perfect floor stain color accompanies the cat's color so well, too! Nicely framed...
