Rastoke is the waterworld of Slunj, a small town on the road from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes and Split. Two rivers meet here ? Slunjcica and Korana. Their confluence is one of the most picturesque places in Croatia. Numerous streams, waterfalls, mills, fish ponds and lakes create a very peacefull and romantic atmosphere. Rivers, canyons, country roads, hills and caves provide wonderful settings for adventure, sports and relaxation. Local restaurants serve fresh trout and other traditional meals. Rooms are available in private houses above waterfalls, limited exclusive camping.
The lighting is interesting but this composition doesn't give me a very strong sense of place. There's too much distraction from the trees and shadows and background. It could be strong if it was simpler.
