About Some times the landscape takes on human characteristics. These two formations remind me of Prince Albert watching his wife, Queen Victoria, bathe in the sea.

The location is Karitane, New Zealand.

Simply a GREAT picture. I take it that you have used an ND or polarizer for this particular shot...
Excellently composed, great colors and DOF. A joy to look at.
Kind regards,
Gustav

I like the combination of colours and the
more I look at the shot the more I see the figures in the rocks.I would though have eased down the contrast a touch and lightened the shot about 1/2 a stop just to give some detail in the shadow areas

love colors of water and sky here and the feeling of drama made by the water; I am not sure about the composition because IMHO these two beautiful rocks stand too much in the middle;
anyway, well spotted, good title;

beautiful color in the water and perfect shutter speed: the water looks soft but still has shape and detail.

Very imaginative. So the Queen was a rather large lady? :)

Yet another beauty for New Zealand. Great job in capturing that crashing wave.

Best,
Dave

Oh yes - i see what you mean. Wonderful capture and wonderful landscape with great colours.

I can hear the wind, smell the sea and feel the water on my feets.
