Hello OOBE, Thanks for the critique. The reason for bit left centered placing of Deer is because of the theme of photo and I wanted to emphesis on Deer going out of the frame. Purple fringing is due to a cheap quality TC which I was testing at that time and after looking at the image I returned it :). Thanks for taking time to have a detailed look at the image. This type of creative and detailed critique what makes Usefilm a useful place to learn photography. -Kunal

The wire needs to be there because that is what the shot is about...the deer jumping it. Also, the deer looks just fine in there...why have it centered? Centered is boring, hehe. That purple fringing is because of the lens, which are, how should I say it...CRAPPY. No offense, but those lenses are sub-par. Still, they are GREAT for dramatic pictures and portraits. Nice shot and timing. =o)

Beautiful jump and great motion captured. I'm thinking if you get the same shot against the sky, it will be amazing.

Angelo, For this image , the theme was "Treaspas" and thats the reason I kept deer going out of the frame. Other reason was that I was trying to capture this image in -20 degree windchill and it was virtually impossible to keep hand steady or to compose fast enough to macth deer. Thanks for the comment. -Kunal

Excellent and very difficult action shot, I would imagine.
Keep practicing your panning technique. As many people have already commented, composition-wise it is better to have the deer running "into" the frame than "out of" it.
Good effort none-the-less.

Hi Stefan, I think the fringe is due to the teleconverter I used. I was practicing to shoot with TC with telephoto lense and this must be of it.
Thanks for your comment. -Kunal

A shot to be proud of. I am wondering what the purple fringing at the snow border is all about.

Nice shot ! Action shots alone like this are very hard and then when you have a subject that blends with the background it makes shots like this even harder. I do agree that a little less space on the right would help the composition a bit. excellent..... Lee

Well-timed shot. Try cropping out some of the dead space on the right. too bad about te wire though.

Great capture Kunal. Excellent exposure, but pity the deer is a bit soft and to much to the left side in the frame. Nevertheless very good work, and I know how hard it is to get a descent shot of fast moving animals in wildlife....Best regards, Harry
