Interesting that you received a donor image of the day when you are not a donor!
Great shot!

Great shot with beautiful detauls. I think having a little more room on the right would be nice. Keep up the great work.

Thanks again my friend. sometimes the simple things make the best pictures. It's only up to us to look and see, then create new visions.

Very nice composition here, Walt! I like your shadows cast by the ladder, and again the texture of the wood is brought out. Dave.

Thanks for your remarks, Jim. I know that when seeing your images, I am seeing pictures made by a talented photographer.
I was resistant to digital for quite a long time, and still prefer toshoot film; however, Iam finding that the Nikon D70, in some places, is absolutely necessary and is well worth the time.
I'd say that if you want to break into digital thenthe D70 is the way to go; it lets you use your Nikon lenses, and you can see immediately the results; that lets you dump the bad shots, and keep the good.
In addition, the 1 hour printing offered by many retail stores lets you win friends, make money, and lessen the lag of film processing.

Hi Walt, you caught the light on this just right, brings out the grain in the wood. Good eye in seeing this I also have a F100, just cant bring myself to go digital. Jim Gamble

Thanks again. This is one of my first published shots from my D70;normally I use my F100 or another camera body. However I find that the D70 is being used more frequently as time and opportunity arise.

Hi Walt, very nice photo, strong in it's simplicity. I like the wy you captured the textures using the light to make it almost tangible. Very interesting.
Cheers,
