I think you might have waited a while Kevin so that either the people on the left or the right had moved out of the shot. I believe that 2 lots of people ,given that they are at opposite sides of the picture space is to much, however I do know this is a busy part of Durhamwith lots of shoppers walking about.

Looks as if all the saturation you leached out of the surrounding area got dumped onto the phone boxes!

It's good to see that there are still some of these left other than in theme restaurants in Poland! The colour against the B&W is great and helps the phone boxes stand out against what might otherwise be a somewhat busy background.
