I knew it was from the arc :)... I have the same photos from there but have not loaded any from there as of yet. It was hard waiting for people to get out of the way so I could take the photo LOL.....
I did put one up from Versailles which came out nice...

cool.. where was this taken?.. I may have taken photos at the same place.. like the perspective and angle.. the focus is a little soft but not too bad.. nicely captured.. good work

Wow, thanks to all of you! This is my picture which most rapidly gathered comments so far...yet I thought this would be a pretty common shot in everyone's eye.
Oh well, you never can tell!:-)
About your questions: no flash here, steady hand though!
I had to enhance contrast and color mapping a little bit because it was very gray-ish right outta da camera...still it does not look un-natural I hope...
Fabrizio is right, I had to do some waiting before the queue of folks walking down finished cluttering MY picture.

Great as it is. It's the sort of image that may be worth experimenting with from a colour perspective. Just an idea.
