I do have a tripod and I'll use it!
The white wall im talking about is right in front of a window so that should provide good light and I thought about getting sheer white material to place on the window when the light is too bright, and rawabi once told me about using a mirror as a light reflector? The lenses are 18-70 mm and the macro is 60 mm so guess they r ok
Thank you for ur quick reply and help
((hugs))

You'll be fine! The white should help to bounce light back onto your friends - are you using natural light? As long as your lenses have focal range of 50mm t0 105mm you will be fine Arwa. If you are outdoors you should get plenty of natural light and if you are indoors you'll need to bounce flash and maybe use a reflector to throw light back up onto them. If you have a tripod it will be handy too so you can frame and focus them and shoot them with your eye off the camera. That way you can engage them and ellicit some nice expressions. Just be aware that they will naturally look at you so if you want eyecontact then keep your head close to the camera! Good luck and make sure you post them....or you could email them too amanda@amandasphotography.com.au - I'm curious to see how you go.

What a sweet image!!! I need your help!!!!!!
I promised a friend of mine that I'll take pictures of her family, including her husband and her son but all I have is my Nikon D70 and two lenses!!! Im a bit nervous cuz shes having high hopes and I don?t want to disappoint her!
I asked her to prepare 2 outfits for everyone in the same colors and a big white sheet to place right under a white wall and that should work nicely as a background right?
I want them to be relaxed and the pictures would be informal but I still want them against white background, LOL I talked a lot
PLEASE help :">

This image is as near perfect as I know. I would DIE to have this in my port. It imbodies everything I love about photography. It captures a moment in time. It makes me feel something, I laughed and smiled. It tells a story about big pants and little pants and daddies and all that good stuff.
Yummy Yummy Stuff.
