great shot, tim. Interesting - seeing this last series of photos, you seem to be turning Coral's comment of my work being more 'feminine' than yours on it's head. I really like this direction you're going in - it's a bit more gentle, more open, & there's some lovely stillness to them. It's great to see your work changing, progressing. I guess all that city agitation is starting to leave your cells! Congrat's.

Hi Bren, So far the camera has been putting up with the abuse that i throw it's way. I unfortunatly slipped on some big bolders not long after this shot later in the day. I landed straddling this large rock seeing stars for a bit, if you can imagine. I managed to fall so the cammera in my hand didn't take to big a hammering but it still has 2 dings on the body and a scar on the lens hood. My thoughts are, that i will likely break the camera before the salt gets to it. LOL

Hi Lukasz. Thanks for your comments. As to my internet connection......it sucks badly!!!! I can barely post photos never mind taking the time to look at others photos because it takes minutes to load a page of thumbnails. then more minutes to load a single photo so that I can leave a comment. I am sad about not being able to be a part of the photo community to the degree that I was before. thanks or asking. Cheers

How can you lose with this image? I like the high horizon placement, the saturated colors and, of course, the bright red boat hull.

like the composition here - this red boat is in fantastic place; the contrast between the red color and blue water is excellent; well done Tim, regards Lukasz

A beautiful tranquil scene. Love the clear water and reflections.
Reminds me of some of the Scottish west coast islands.

Some great shots from this trip. I curious as to how your D70 held up in the sea air with all that spray flying around?
