Leora, thanks a lot...you know I had not noticed that all the sky space below the rainbow was flared - I had just noticed the overexposure on the buildings ? So I am going to post the other side as well...this site rocks, and could even make a decent photographer out of me, eventually!:-)
Alberto
ps: nice of you spending time to enhance my photo...I may try my skill on one of your....if you don't mind ?:-]

Yikes, I see that the copy I attached did not come through - so it was all just talk.
I appreciated your reply and will try to include the photo now.
Peace, Leora

Yep, thanks for the suggestions, I took a look at your pictures, they are beautiful too! BTW; I don't even have PS, I use a program called Picture Publisher, but in this picture I just did a bit of cropping and enhanced the contrast because I took the photo from behind the window pane and the colors appeared too washed off.

Hi Alberto, this photo is startling and so interesting, because you can see the sun flare within the rainbow orb so clearly.
I experimented with it in PS - curves and selective colors - to intensify the experience for myself - it may bring out the windows a bit for you, too, I think.
Curves sometimes sharpens without having to go to the sharpen filter.
You invited suggestions, so I could not resist sharing this.
Your other photos are beautiful, too.
Cheers, Leora

Hi Kevin, it's a cheap, outdated camera...I just have to take whatever she's giving me!:-) I appreciate your contribution,
Alberto

I juts mean that the lighting on the buildings are very bright and takes some of the focus away from the rainbow and you lose some of the details in them to. Beside that, I really like the building in the shot, and the lighintg just find them a little overexposed that's all. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.

Kevin, thanks! I could not really have removed the buildings, could I ?:-) Oh, photoshopping them away you mean ? The bright buildings are struck by a sunray, while the rest of the city is darkened out by the cloud cover...I did not really want to change this (nor could I), I thought this is a really rare lighting situation and could not miss it...the camera itself got confused by the severe condition...it could not decide if it was dark or not, and overexposed the buildings...it was really much darker than it appears in the picture...

You captured a really nice rainbow but I find the composition could be a little better. Also I think the bright buildings are distracting and take the focus away from te rainbow. Keep up the good work.
