Schitterende plaat zeg .. je moet geloof ik wel eens een zachte schildersborstel meenemen om de "stoel" af te stoffen ;-)) Heb ik onlangs zien doen door een bevriend natuurliefhebber-fotograaf !

Hi Teunis; this is an excellent Amanita photo, and besides being a good speciman, the vegetation in the background and the groundcover too add a lot to this photo. I have yet to see Amanitas this year, but they should be out soon.
Thanks for comments on my Horse Daisy photo. Cheers. Craig

fly agaric! I have discovered they are NOT so lethal as I thought, but they may give you a hugely sore belly. I used to have a lot in my back garden too. I think they are so beautiful!and your autumnal shot is stunning!

The only thing missing is "kabouter Prikkebeen" ..;-) (a local song about a gnome who was using such a mushroom as a rocking chair..") But a very nice shot.. Haven't seen them around here yet..

WOW................ superb capture, Tenis!
i liked both.... i actually think this is a plce where we can exercise the Art....
even in Journalism some images can BE used despite they are out of focus, due to the Nature and scarcity of facts.... even on Television!
This goes to my Favorites'!!!

A nice shot except that the background is too sharp and takes away from the subject. Try blurring from about half-way up the stalk.

Hi Teunis, that's a goot macro of the mushroom. You composed the shot perfectly with nice colours and contrast.I like the green and yellow colours of the live leaves and the brown colours of those dead ones on the ground which between them erupted the mushroom and stands like an umbrella. Nice coloured image Teunis, good work. Regards, Khaled.
