About We had to rise very early in the bitter cold to catch the sunrise in this unearthy landscape of geishers and hot mud pools.
The view was splendid, but the lighting circumstances were rather difficult; I could have waited for more light, but then the alienesque atmoshere would have been spoiled by the sun.

Barry got the words out before me! Never wait, take it and then you can still get one later. You did well, terrific mood and the inclusion of the person adds sale and that sense of about to be abducted by aliens! An enviable moment and experience, shared.

Great atmosphere. It's a shame that the thumbnail doesn't give a feel for the tones and textures in the full size image which unfortunately means most people won't take a look which is a shame as it's very nicely composed.
