About re-post, but now with poem i wrote.
The poet?
He?s a sharp dim-wit who wears the boots of a traveler while getting them stuck in his mental mud,
He?s the eyes of a starving child,
He?s the stomach of a full man,
He sits with his pale skin in the divine shine so that his mind can tan.
He resides in the shadows of his dreams,
While his dreams reside in the shadows on the sun.
He opens the mouth of fate so he can breathe his memories into her lungs, so that he?s constantly reminded that the past creates the future when he hears her voice.
He kindly holds a bird so that its wings can not expand,
Just so the creature can embrace the trait that makes it different then man.
He is the cell membrane that encompasses his body in external reality. He is the membrane which receives beauty from spiritual dimensions through transfusion.
He finds comfort when the concept of nothingness manifests itself into flesh in front of his eyes so that he can shake the hand of nothing to prove its existence to himself,
But he gets scared when he looks in the mirror and sees himself shaking his own hand.
He speaks with the voice of a teacher while standing in front of the mirror with his eyes closed, so that the student inside him doesn?t know if he should trust the unknown voice.
He stares at a butterfly dancing with a rock while ignoring an eagle soaring high above a magnificent mountain.
He bit the apple to see if he should trust the word of God,
Now he?s stranded in mid-air with an apple hooked into his cheek, staring at a snake slithering around God as he holds the fishing line while laughing at my so-called sin.
He only feels comforted when confronted with contained confusion
He is a pawn that can put the king in check-mate but decides to avoid all conflict.
He is a seed being cultivated in the shadow of hope.
He is the wind trapped between two walls.
He climbs to the top of a mountain only to plant his flower on a cloud,
Just so he can watch it fall with the rain into the water so that a part bof him can fly in the ocean.

An interesting experiment, the picture is strongly reminiscent of an Oriental tradition in painting. I may be guilty of overdramatizing this, but a moving image with the poem spoken to a background of appropriate sounds might be more the mode required to bring out the best in this idea. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that a very short film could be produced from this.

beautiful and thoughtful poem. a wonderful accompaniment to the image, and vice versa, I enjoy the photo manipulation, it is a stunning achievement, weaving these two together and i fully appreciate you taking the time to share! keep sharing :)

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique The picture is one thing the poem is the other.
But you have paired them up in a great caption of who you are. (atleast thats my impression)
Now in the order of appearance..
the photo is really great. I like the color - the contrast between the bright sun and the cold blue of nightlight is beautiful. Its really 'hot and cold' and I like the how the person is magnified. I think its a great presentaion to the poem.
Now 2. The poem is good. A bit serious, a bit sad, a bit fun, and very real. I liked the feel.
I bet you would be kewl to know.
Anyway... there is my two cents. Thanks for sharing yourself.. sorry this is so long.... what can I say - my fingers are in love with my keyboard. Have a good one.. hey send me that link to your site.
