Hi Brad,
Very nice composition and tonality. I like the way you used the receding streetlamps to form a diagonal pattern, which is echoed by the way the roofline of the old building in the mid-ground steps downward along an almost parallel diagonal. This in turn created the triangular slice of the newer building in the background. Although the windows of that building lie along a rectangular grid, there is still the "diagnonality" created by the hypotenuse of that triangle.
The blacks in the streetlamps are beautiful.
Finally, there is that little "Bird" penant hanging from one of the lamposts to hint to us that we're in Baltimore. Great!
Thanks for your very kind comments on my recent photos. The $20 bill I promised you is on the way :-)
Best regards, SteveR

Charming old world structure and lamp-posts with wonderful arches and domes set against your basic flat plain window after window contemporary building making for a superb contrast. The lamp-posts have superb clarity standing out from the shallow depth of field of the rest of the pic. Nicely done Brad.

I love all of the lines and how the three different distances blend together into one but the shallow depth of field divides them from each other...

Many many windows. Something extra Bradley. First of all, great tonality, then; a diagonal of this lamps and all this windows. The house of the middle looks like a station of some kind. Excellent shot.
