I don't care what anyone says, I love this one. I keep coming back to it. I think it is because of her expression and the colors in this photo that draws me to it. The title fits the expression as well. Great job.

Patrick, I cannot believe you are getting so annoyed about this...
I did not know ratings were so important. I give this one a 5, just because for a series of reasons the image is not as appealing as others. The reasons are irrelevant, others are more eyecatching or more pleasant. This image has, of course other qualities which is why I looked in the first place.
But think about it... why care about a ratings? it is the number of views that counts, or should count, more.
I suggest you dissable the ratings in your account. I have the impression you will feel better. Also, think about it, most people give automatic 7's.... you should value more a comment than just the automatic reflex of someone's middle finger (excuses, no pun intended).

Hi P. I agree with everything u said. I am not trying to order anyone to do anything though. I know i get a lot of views and i have over 250 friends and counting, I also know that mostly viewers are looking for T&A and they don't care for technical information or lighting setups... They just want to entertain their eyes. It does not mean i consider myself a bad photographer with attractive images, on the contrary. Like Gino Quattrocchi said last week, I am playing here. i post the photos that i like for me and cause i know that mostly all viewers are going to like them. Unlike 90% of the people here, i do this is for a living, and the comments here are not gonna change or improve anyything in my everyday work. I do value them very much, but i know what works and what doesn't in my line of work. If someone thinks that this girl has a nasty expression or the lighting is not to their taste or the make up is too much, well, that's their opinion. So i can take it or leave it, but it will never affect my everyday work. Luckily, my clients keep calling me and i get new ones everyday, so i can't t complain.I love what i do and most of the males I know wish they had my job, so there's a lot of envy out there and that leads to unfair bad ratings, not my "self centeredness" and if i had more time to comment, i would, but i can't keep up with 250 friends' photos and have time left to run my business. I have received 4400 comments so far with an average of 11 comments per image. I couldn't match that in 5 years... Once again, i post a lot of comments and not only on my friends' photos. If i haven't commented on yours, sorry, but it doesn't mean i don't care.
I hope all of this made some sense at all.

I don't particularly like this photo. Her pose is not flattering, her expression is 'nasty' as Peta pointed out. Her eyes are pretty but the sneer detracts terribly. The colours and clarity are wonderful. Now regarding your 'I just wanna say a couple of things': agreed, unsubstantiated bad ratings are unfair and it would be nice if all people would comment along with their ratings. It isn't going to happen. Accept it. Too many people looking? I wish I had that complaint. The mere subject matter of your photos are going to get your thunmbnails clicked. Human nature, we all like a little look-see at scantily clad woman but may not have the desire to comment. You can't seriously believe you can order people not to look if they are not going to comment. That sort of attitude will just encourage the bad ratings from people who will get their back up at your audacity Patrick. Be reasonable. It is a photography site. Also if you peruse your comments you will note that a majority are made back on your own photos. Maybe if you spend the same amount of time commenting on the pics of the people who post to you, you would continue to get a positive feedback. I posted on a great many of your photos and you only commented back when I asked your opinion. Yet I continued to comment on yours long after that. I stopped as I have a long friend's list and have trouble at times keeping up with that...but I make the effort because they deserve it. Friends get what they give. I think you are an extremely talented photographer Patrick but unfortunately a trifle pious and self-centered at times. This could account for bad ratings. Think about it. In all honesty I have NEVER given you a bad rating.

I just wanna say a couple of things: I don't take bad ratings well... Especially when they are not deserved or when they are not accompanied by a valid explanation. Also, i am getting tired of anonymous ratings, either good or bad. Just like i am fed up about too many people looking and not enough comments or ratings. In the future, for those people, if you are not gonna comment, don't look and if u are gonna give a bad rating, have the guts to show your face...Thanx ppdix

well miss peta, u don't have to like every photo i take. i appreciate all comments, good or bad, but i don't quite understand your remark about her being in my balcony... if she felt lucky or not, i guess she's the only one that can answer that.
