Hello Robert,
You broke a lot of "conventions" with your photo, and I think it was all to the best: The rider is leaving the frame instead of coming into it. The main point of focus, the picture on the window, is almost dead-center. Things you "shouldn't" do, but like all rules, meant to be broken at times. You "broke" them very well :-)
The above 2 elements, along with the overall tilt of the image, the slight blur of the rider, and the dark tones give the photo an atmosphere of mystery and maybe even a little fear. At least that is how I reacted to it.
Above all, yours is a photo that I looked at for a long time - it's so interesting.
I think that M. "Henri" would be very happy with this image as one in tribute to him.
But Robert - only one photo! I hope to see many more from you!
I am curious about your camera - I will have to look it up on the internet. It sounds like one of those old-fashioned names that European, especially German manufactures gave their cameras in the '50s.
Best regards, SteveR
