About In a little tucked away section of Baltimore, I found the remains of a railroad car..burned up. Lots of rust, and lots of charred wood. These nails don't have much left to hold on to.

Love the colors and how they divide the image, wonderfully composed. Great texture in the ashened wood.

Very well found Brad - and I like the title too :-)

The dof you have is stunning and the colour reproduction of the D70 is just great.

Thanks Thilo, to be honest with you, I'm shopping lenses right now. I am NOT satisfied with the Tamron lens. I LOVE the focal range (28-300) but you sacrifice clarity with that range. It's been ok up to this point, but as I progress with my little hobby, I am more and more critical of the results it gives.

Hello Brad
Apart from the excellent DOF you achieved, I like the different textures and strong contrast of colours. Very good composition, but would prefer a fraction off the bottom border (to eliminate the bit of rust colour bottom left corner) and maybe a gentle tilt to the left.

Love the idea and the colors. Maybe you could crop a little more the burned wood.
Thanks for looking for these nice details and capture them! :)
