About If you are a canon owner you need to give the L lenses a try . I rented one this weekend for a wedding I am shooting they do have a great quality level.Took this with a 17-40mm L F4 canon lens. These lenes are really sharp.Just wish I could afford a lens that cost more than a $1000. Rented this one for $35.00 for the weekend pretty good deal I think.

:-)) I almost didn't recognise Little Laney with her neatly combed hair :-) Still the little doll - beautiful portrait Dan.
I agree with Gustav though - just a bit off the top.

A beautiful portrait of a beautiful little girl. I like the subtle edge lighting along the left side.

A very charming portrait of a cute little girl.
Like to see the white above her head cropped or
cloned out....Just scroll up and down...
The lens used for this portrait certainly is an excellent lens. At 64 mm digital focal range it is definetly too short for portrait work IMO
Regards,
Gustav

I think the L word, or words, in this case, would be, Little Lanny Loves her mommy and daddy.

Cute shot, she is an adorable little doll.

Post Script: will have those shots from Longwood next weekend. Work has been a bear and havnt been able to get them to the lab untill today.

Fantastic portait Dan, the L series really are something special. Look at the bright side though - that same lens is double the price over here lol If I get over next year I may need a guide to get to NY for a Canon EOS 20D (if my wife will let me lol)
