About I've just finished cleaning the house from top-to-bottom!! Dustin', hooverin', cleanin' the bathroom and kitchen ~ AND I've laid out fresh flowers and printed a 'good to have you home' poster!! Therefore, this seemed a rather appropriate image to load up!!!

Now I'm off to get the Missus!! I MAY make it back on to UF later tonight ~ just depends how many things I've missed!!

Best regards to all,

Chris

P.S. Picture taken on a little walk along the Exmouth to Exeter railway line yesterday afternoon.

Beautiful! A Currier & Ives painting. Fantastic colours and detail leading your eye to the hazy background. I think that big black thing in the foreground adds interest and depth actually. (I posted an other, 'Rural Church' I thought you might enjoy, kind of pastoral, painting-like, can't quite imitate a 'Spracklen' but will keep on trying?)

Come on Chris. No excuses. Your letting the side down and just playing into female hands when they say "Men can't do two things at once". To me it's just part of the railway landscape. Wish I could make out what it is though. Seems you had the 300mm at full stretch and it shows up the imperfections in the track.
My application for D70 owners club should be in post tomorrow!!!

Great shot, Chris. I especially like the winding track and the hazy background. The people are a nice add. Very nice composition and beautiful natural colors.

LOL! I like this weblog of yours...) Good luck, and spend some time with the Missus. You'll be missed on UF, though...)

Very nice image, the bends in the track lead the eye nicely towards the group of people. I also think the slight haze, obscuring the background just enough to create distance, removing it form the list of Primary subjects is a very beautiful addition. Well captured!

Don't think that grey blurry thing in the bottom right corner is all that distracting. It only adds to the composition, and fits nicely within the atmosphere.

Cheers,

Hugo
