About Please advice me here, I love this photo but I think it needs more improvement. I meant to crop it in this way, it was a face in the crowd. One of my first shot with my SLR. Thanks

Beautiful original!!! Thanks for posting it. In the original it looks sharper.
Probably because you cropped a much smaller portion from the original is why it lost some sharpness. I for the most part use two cameras. The one that gives me the better quality image I can crop quite a bit and still retain quality. But the other one doesn't do as well with cropping a small amount. Even though they both are 4 mega pixels. This is probably what happened here.

Fantastic colors in the original!!!!
good job,
Lori

Hi again Linn...thanks for stopping once again.

Me and Saeed are not relative, we only have the same family name. We only meet each other in usefilm Al Shamsi family is big in spread all over the county.

Hi Arwa..thanks for your comment, the softness here cuz of enlarging the image, it was cropped from a larger photo..see the original photo above..thanks

Great stuff - I knew it would be very colourful! Amna, I agree that the toned version with your specific crop works extremely well together. If you had left it in colour, then I am not sure whether the tight crop would have worked? You had a lot of background distractions to work around - you did extremely well with your crop.

Are you and Saeed related?

Linn

It is a great shot indeed Amana. However, I would rather not to corp the face here and would have showed the complete face. I hope you have taking the complete face in other photos. BUT! Still a great work! Cheers.

Excellent capture and sepia toning, Amna!
The crop is perefect, maybe the sharpness could be a bit improved. A very expressive shot!
Congrats! ..... Lucas

Hi Amna,
I really like this image, and the way you cropped it. I like the tones. Probably not a whole lot to be done when it's not sharp, can only correct it so much! But I STILL love it.

It would be interesting to see the original!
Nice capture,
Lori :)

Fabulous crop! I like this toned version, but I also know that the traditional beads and headgear is not only colourful and beautiful, but of such great intricate art.

I would like to see the original - can you attach in a comment?

I think it is gorgeous and love the cropping, great detail and wonderful soft tones. The full pic and in colour may have been too much due to all the adornments. This is perfect.

It all depends what the original is like. If the sharpness is as on this photo, you can only slightly improve it with USM. there are some high contrasts by the very light garments, again the master image may allow careful contrast improvement. It also helps to have a feature like shadow/highlights with Photoshop to adjust the highlights. Regards, Rob.

Is is a beautifull image. Just needs a bit more sharp in my opinion.
Great shot
