Nice shot Ursula. Pity about the JPEG artifacts. Love the framing and presentation.

@ Roger :Thanks for commenting...yes the dark sky is from the window, and yes,I agree completely with Hugo. But I never thought of a vertical panorama.
Kind regards,Ursula

@ Ozjan : actually I thought about leaving it as tilted,as you did....You do beautiful frames... Sometimes I like it without framing, please don`t mind, the frame works perhaps more ,than the picture..:)
Kind regards,Ursula

Dear Ursula, A very good shot tilted & framed that way. It needed a little smoothing though and I was just doing it my way here. I hope you do not mine me playing with the frame. Cheers my friend.

Hi Hugo,I must admit, that I didn`t think about a crop,at all...but you are right...as always..and it looks GREAT ,cropped like this.A pity ,that the quality is so poor! I should return and place myself in the middle of the street... and once with a tripod :) Thanks a lot, I`m always glad about your comments!
Best wishes,Ursula

I must remember this technique of putting a tilted photo inside a straight frame. Again, as it did for the "Not Moon" shot, it seems to work. At least it attracts attention! Pity about the quality of the scan, though. The gradations in the sky are nice, but maybe that is the effect of your car window? PS I love panoramas, as you may remember, and echo Hugo's comment... Vertical panoramas are a neglected art form!

Hi Ursula, apart from the quality of this shot, I like this one alot. The deep tones as well as the point of view work very well. I only wonder why you left this one rotated and presented it in it's current form. I think this shot lends itself perfectly for a vertical panoramic format. It disguises the initial tilt, and with a crop, you can even place the gg bridge off center.... Just to check what it would look like, I attached the version I'm getting at. Nice job!

Cheers,

Hugo
