That might work, but you'd need to turn the texture opacity way down. (see what I did with http://www.usefilm.com/image/462944.html and you'll see the importance of reduing texture opacity. It will then become an enhancement, instead of a distraction. )

Well..., it looks like a ghost station to me, and I think I see a ghost in the distant right of the picture with a couple of eerie spooks above him. Nice work in PS.

This station is built to look like the old station from years ago. The street is actually cobblestones. I'll get a nice clear shot and post it one day so that you can see!

Very interesting effect you created with the solarization and smudging - definitely gives it an eerie, uneasy mood, like something out of a Steven King novel... The pavement almost looks like water! Quite surreal indeed!

Richard, I took this shot originally at dusk, in black and white. It was blahhh. I think I may have equalized and added the cloud texture in PS Elements.I'm glad you like it. I'm usually not into a lot of PS manipulations. I was bored, waiting for my new camera to come in. I got that today, so I won't be playing in my archives for a while! lol

Wow---everyone else said EXACTLY what I was gonna say. So...Hmmm...How's the family? Nice manipulation and such..I always thought it would be a grand vacation just traveling around taking shots of old RR stations.

Fantastic dreamlike quality achieved, Rebecca. The haze, the glow and the white trees gives this a very haunting effect. Nice work.
