Hi Telmo,

in the moment my 'nice' old PC prevents me from spending too much time with uploading new photos...hope I'm back quite soon.

Cheers,
Verena

Hi Verena! Missed you!!!!!
Nice angle! Indeed, I believe the angle is the soul of this fantastic shot! No doubts about the author! ;-)))
Congrats!

say cheeeeeeeeeeeeese....oh nobody in the picture is grinning...;-)

lg, uwe

Hi Verena, to quote you:

"and everyone is allowed to see a macro or a huge motive! I want people too take more than one look!"

That's exactly what I forgot to mention, the tension in this shot; the wondering about the what, why and so on. It's what makes this shot (so interesting)

Cheers,

Hugo

@Ken, how can you be so negative ;), perhaps this is from the new Joseph Beuys ;)))))))))

He was teacher in this art academy

@Hugo, this huge kind of art is approx. 2 meter high and I think the artist who was sitting close to it didn't like if I would add something there... ;)

and everyone is allowed to see a macro or a huge motive! I want people too take more than one look!

Hopefully you survived the hectic weekend successfully...

Cheers,
Verena

Good capture. I don't think I like this stacks as an art. But photo is definetely a good one.

Hi Verena, I like the perspective and the lighting. It looks like a braided basket, but the braids are a bit solid for that. Great shadow play and the grain works very well. Good shot, and a very interesting piece of art! There's also a reference to a stack of cheese, but I think that's a bit far fetched. A very good capture, as usual.

On a more critical note, apart from the curiosity about the nature of the subject, I think the photo could benefit from an odd object, something to reference to the size or something unusual to create a bit more tension.

Thanks for your email, very original, and good to hear your voice! The past weekend has been very hectic, that's why I haven't answered you....

Cheers,

Hugo
