I can tell you my friends that the light reflection in top of the lighthouse was pure luck.
I didn't see that untill I saw it on the photo.
Sometimes one must have a bit of luck.

Thanks for sharing that moment Titia. It is an exquisite composition, with the fading perspective well set. But it is the glowing light that amazes me the most here,the sparkling air you have caught so well. The flare on the upper part of the lighthouse enhances this.

Hugo, thanks for your comment. I read you're living in Haarlem. I've lived there for more than 13 years and I'm still visiting on a regular base, because my youngest daughter is still living there. Isn't it a beautiful city and lots and lots to photograph overthere.

Kevin, that's a very nice crop, if you're aiming for the lighthouse as the main object.
I was more or less aiming at 'going out' to open sea.

Hi Titia, Beautiful shot of the Hellevoet Harbour entrance (exit might be more appropriate) The highlight in the lighthouse is perfect. Very well balanced composition. I just read your bio, very interesting! Congratulations on getting your poems published... )
