About Image reposted with suggested adjustment to croping.(I agree with you totally on this one Artie. A much improved image. I already cropped out a wack of the original 35 mm width, but was hesitant to go this far. And so I keep learning.) Also lightened the scan a bit. Oh, the happy day when I get a film scanner and I can stop scanning machine prints.

Good eye. Great choice of perspective and good color. Don't feel bad about the scan--I think we all have major difficulties getting our stuff looking acceptable on-screen. The phone lines compete with the line of the tracks, maybe I would have panned down and right to adjust that if it were possible.

Wow knew you would like it.....big BALLS again there Mr. Charlton........Soon enough John all these little things will fall in place for you.........always a pleasure to help...Hey but dont sweat the film scanner, unless you buy a flextight (and that doesnt compare to a drum)you'd be better off paying for a drum or doing a good flat scan if you do it right...scan a print at 600 dpi, no more and no less....after scan...resize for the web usually around 500x500 or the dimensions appropriate, than change the dpi to 100 or 96 or 72 than sharpen....if done right you'll get excellent results....
