Hi Cessy, well, actually I'm a bit embarrased with this one, since this was my first upload in Usefilm, it's badly composed, and I'm stupidically press the back button so that only about half of it was loaded.... But anyway, I did learn a lot from everybody at UF..... Have you been to Bandung? 'cos I think I got some more picture of Bandung...
Hi Sony, for whatever reason the lower part of your photo isn't visible, so I'd try to upload it again. This photo (as far as it's visible) is a good start, exposure is okay. One thing I would avoid is placing the horizon exactly in the middle of the frame. One simple rule that makes (generaly, but not always) a photo more appealing for most people is the so called 'rule of thirds', which means basicaly placing major elements of the scene (horizon, people, the eyes of people in their face) on (virtual) lines in your photo which are a multiplier of 1/3. Just do a search with google and you'll find plenty of information about this rule. When you look at my homepage the following photo: http://www.tom-crowning.com/landscape01/slides/Autumns-coming.php shows what I mean: - horizon about 1/3 from the bottom (actually I should have included more sky to get it right) - main subject about 1/3 from the right I hope you got the idea.
