Thanks again for all the comments, I used a 2 stop N.D. graduated filter to hold back the sky in camera. The photo was desaturated in photoshop, then some levels adjustments were made to increase contrast.

The exposure really makes for a dramatic image, love the contrasts. There's something about the composition however...the tilt of the sand sculpture and the placement of the people, just puts it a wee bilt off kilter somehow. Other than that nitpic, excellent image!
